THE ORION EXPERIENCE plays the iconic roxy THEATER

It’s May 28th, 2022, The Roxy Theater in Hollywood, California. The energy is high. A crowd of excited, glamorous-looking fans are waiting with pulsing anticipation to see their favorite band take the stage. The house music that’s been pumping through the club stops. Fever Dream, the epic instrumental and title track off of The Orion Experience’s latest full-length album starts to play and the crowd goes wild. They know what’s coming and they are gearing up for the show of their lives.
The song ends. The club goes dark. Behind a thick, velvet curtain The Orion Experience takes the stage. As the curtain lifts, the crowd screams in utter ecstasy as the band makes a dramatic entrance with All Dolled Up, a high-engery, Glam Rock anthem which sets the tone for an unbelievable night of dancing.
Lead singers, Orion Simprini and Linda XO charm the audience with their bewitching harmonies and captivating stage presence. Reef Rox, lead guitar, shreds Brian May style, and new members, Cory Tramontelli (bass) and Marc Slutsky (drums) perform a seamless debut. Banger after incredible banger, the band delivers cult classics such as The Queen of White Lies, Obsessed With You, and Adrianne, as well as premiers some of their newer hits; Night Eyes, Digital Affection, and Honeysuckle Kisses. The set is one bombastic dance number after another, ending with none other than The Cult of Dionysus, their hedonistic love anthem that gave the band viral success on TikTok and birthed their resurgence into pop culture.
The energy in the room is palpable and the love is off the charts. Genuine joy fills the space as The Orion Experience performs arguably one of the best shows of their career (and I’ve seen almost all of them)! Ending the night with a two-song encore, the band performs Wrecking Ball, a riotous, rainbow-colored, reimagined version of the Mother Mother folk-rock ballad. Concluding the night with Roll With Me, the ultimate roller-disco anthem, has everyone grooving, including the fabulously talented Hearbreakers Club, who star in the official video for that song.
It’s hard to come down from the natural high this evening provided. Luckily, this is just the beginning for The Orion Experience. They are currently planning an international tour and will be announcing dates soon. Stay tuned!
